You can help the University of Tennessee Dogwood Research group locate disease resistant trees growing throughout the area. If you know of a flowering dogwood tree that has survived in a heavily wooded area where most other trees have died from dogwood anthracnose, or a tree that has not been affected by powdery mildew in a heavily diseased area, email us!
We may be able to use cuttings from your tree to help us breed disease resistance into new flowering dogwood cultivars.
